PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Over the last 12 months, the Everlon in-house design team have been working with Brisbane City Council to develope a public artwork recognising the memorialisation of missing persons. Last month, the 3m stainless steel artwork was installed.

The design is comprised of five teardrop fins, joined at the centre. The tear represents both sadness and joy, tears of loss and tears of reconciliation. The tear is fixed as the centre piece over a pond acting as a water feature, creating a contemporary and welcoming place of reflection.
