Cleaning Bronze
Overtime, bronze products can deteriorate in appearance, becoming dull and developing a natural decay with a green patina. Restoring the appearance of your plaque involves a simple cleaning process which works to maintain it for many years to come.
How to clean your bronze products:
- Rinse of any dirt and debris with water (a hose works well)
- Using warm soapy water, clean the plaque with a cloth and soft brush such as a toothbrush.
- Rinse of remaining soapy water.
Note: It is important that you avoid using abrasive cleaning products such as Brasso and wire brushes.
